When it comes to furry companions, there's no denying that dogs and cats are among the most beloved pets in the world. But which one reigns supreme in terms of popularity on Google searches? That's what we aimed to find out in our research.

We analyzed Google search data from around the globe to determine which pet - dogs or cats - was searched for more frequently. In addition, we looked specifically at four countries: America (US), United Kingdom (UK), Canada, Australia, and India.

Our study not only sheds light on which animal is more popular in terms of online searches, but also provides insights into the different cultural preferences and trends that exist across the world when it comes to pets.
